Free food from nature: Apple-cheddar pie. October 11, 2011 · 9:15 am. Sometimes all the stars align. Yesterday afternoon, after shaping a batch of bagels in the morning, I had a good amount of revived starter left over, with a bit of rye flour thrown in for flavour and colour. I hadn’t made anything yet from Dan Lepard’s Short and Sweet. Way too much about t...

http://voxford.blogspot.com/2008/10/welcome-post-readers.html
Monday, 20 October 2008. Welcome, Post Readers. Greetings to anyone who may have stumbled here from John Kelly's Commons. My new Washington Post blog. John Kelly's Voxford was the blog I wrote during my year in England. It's pretty much moribund, but if you, like me, occasionally pine for England, you might find some memories here, reasons both to miss England and to be glad you're not there. Here's something I wrote about British supermarkets. Here's a piece I did (with video! 20 October 2008 at 08:48.

http://voxford.blogspot.com/2008/07/all-news-that-fits.html
Friday, 11 July 2008. All the News That Fits. I emerged from the Farragut North Metro yesterday morning and collided with a metaphor. A man and a woman were hunched over the newspaper street racks at the corner of Connecticut and L NW. They were scraping the names of newspapers from the brown metal vending machines. News from Miami." He can get it for free on the web now. What will be done with it when it's empty, and when all the other street racks- with their signature message: "Use any combination of ...

Practically speaking, there are financial concerns but I’ve also put this in God’s hands. I could obsess and try to take it back but I’ve handed it over to the Lord and we’ll be fine. I really believe that. I could stew on regrets and the act of quitting but I believe I’m where the Lord needs me....View all posts by Robin Arnold →. Enter you...

Me, Nigel the Starter, and our relationship advisors →. December 2, 2011 · 2:44 pm. For my first Short and Tweet. Effort I’m afraid I’m not breaking new ground. In fact, it’s not even that much of an effort as this is our regular loaf, and a fairly easy one at that. So I’m being a a bit lazy here. However, I will say that it’s a cracker – no it isn’t, it’s a bread! Update: The collected results are in; check everyone’s loaves at the Short and Tweet. 7 responses to “. Endless winter | Robin in V-a

Life and work in Virginia. About Robin in Va. Boomer doesn’t live here anymore. Hope Springs in a Garden →. March 1, 2015. Spring will come even though right now I think we’re stuck in endless winter. I lay awake at night planning the vegetable rotation in the raised beds, the cleanup and pruning I’ll do out front as soon as I can, and the compost bins I hope I can convince my husband to build. I think besides the seasonal affective disorder. Is Spring going to even arrive? Will March go out like a lamb?
