When I gave up dirt bike riding (Trials mostly) and moved onto the street (mumble, mumble years ago), my first road bike was a 1982 Yamaha Turbo Seca (purchased new as a leftover in 1984) . . . and I survived! 2005 Rally the Void. Craig and Bobs Wild Ride. In case you haven't heard, Neither Craig nor I rode in the rally. Craig had a very good excuse, Matt (his son) and his wife were expecting. She went into labor so he continued on to PA to do the grandpop thing! My planned route down. Our planned rally route (Obviously this did not happen! Our actual route (Nothing here, move on! 2009 Wicked Tribe 'Late Fall Ride'. But don't tell the wives :-). A motorcycle trip . . . the second week in December . . . from eastern PA . . . to Texas . . . are you freekin' nuts? Yep, heard it more than once . . . and your point is? We decided to get a not so early start the next morning so the rain would have time to clear out (didn't break my heart one bit) . . . and it worked! Did I mention it was cold? 2005 IBA Saddlesore 1K. This is just a quick and dirty page (somewhat) documenting my pending Saddlesore ride in 2005. If you assume a 4 hour rest, the average is still a very manageable 50 miles per hour. This is easily doable even in the congested Northest where I live and even more so on this route to Missouri. 99-02 Chevy Pickup Customization. 1] I've been told my tonneau (Traders) was one of the first hard tonneaus shipped to the East Coast! I'll take more time and choose a more appropriate color, white, gray, etc instead of bright red which should also get me a gray interior. The only other major issue I had with the old truck was getting it into some of the places I like to go . . . I hit bottom quite often. 99-02 Chevy Pickup Customization. To go along with the standard rolled pan, hidden handle and tonneau, this time I'd like to do a Cadillac tail light conversion. The one pictured is way more than I could ever afford but it gives you the idea of how the Cadillac tail lights look on a Chevy truck. 99-02 Chevy Pickup Customization. I don't anticipate doing much in the performance department other than the standard, bolt on type stuff. A fresh air kit, headers, free flow exhaust system and a performance chip are all it will probably ever see. Now if I come across a great deal on a truck that needs and engine . . . all bets are off! 99-02 Chevy Pickup Customization. Lower control arms and lowered springs, took it back to the same alignment shop and voila, no bump steer and a pretty nice ride! This time I would like to go all out and use an AirRide Technologies complete StrongArm suspension system, consisting of Upper and Lower Control Arms with an Adjustable Air Spring / Shock Absorber Unit as shown on the left.
