A Fantastic Legacy: Day Two - News from Nowhere. A Fantastic Legacy: Day Two. Oct 9th, 2014 08:56 pm. For the second day of the Diana Wynne Jones conference. The morning was divided into parallel sessions: you chose between two themes, and heard a series of (usually three) short papers, followed by questions and discussions. Witter, witter, witter . If only this weren't true . Sep 9th, 2013 at 7:00 PM. So, I proof read my local theatre's newsletter. And I'm known to be rabid when it comes to the abuse of apostrophes. Richard III - you can't keep a good king down! - Freda Warrington

Random thoughts of a fantasy writer. Richard III - you can't keep a good king down! Feb 6th, 2013 at 6:07 PM. A documentary (on Monday 4. Much as I’d imagined him from portraits and contemporary accounts. Even those ancient fragments managed to convey a pretty accurate impression of the actual man. The court of the mi...

Newcastle - isfdb
http://isfdb.livejournal.com/19852.html
May 2nd, 2012. I'm driving to Newcastle (English one) on Saturday to let a friend visit her cousin who's in hospital and has just come out of a 5-week coma. As I've never met him before it seems inappropriate for me to visit him as well, so I'm thinking of spending the afternoon indulging in second-hand bookshop visiting. Does anyone have any recommendations? The bigger the SF section, the better. 2012-05-02 07:38 pm (UTC). Alternatively, drive to the coast and find the Keel Row Bookshop.

Ink in My Coffee. Saturday, April 24, 2004. SATURDAY, APRIL 24, 2003. Pat Tillman was killed in Afghanistan. Football may not be my sport, but Pat Tillman and his brother Kevin (who plays baseball) caught my attention when they walked away from their sports careers to join the military. It felt personal, although we’d never met. It felt like they were going over for. They weren't just sitting around mourning 9/11. They took action. I have a candle burning for them. Worked on my mailing list, got more cop...
