December 29, 2014. A frighteningly capable ensemble whose main gig is playing ‘Soldat’ really well, along with other very new music written for their odd instrumentation. The ensemble was very constructive and generally awesome to work with, and I’m so glad to have the privilege of doing so. And now I have this great recording! My friend, fellow UB student and composer/conductor Matthew Chamberlain. There still needs to be some work on it, but right now I’m just really excited.
