Daily Juggling Act: August 2015
http://dailyjugglingact.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
July 14, 2016. Friday, August 28, 2015. Yesterday turned out to be a day of seeing long-time friends. I had lunch with two girlfriends. One I've known for 30 years and see once every other month. The other I've known for 45 years and hadn't seen for at least two years. Then, later in the day, hubby met his best man for dinner. Links to this post. Monday, August 24, 2015. I love using craft card stock as a base for fall cards. I used the stamp I bought for Jonah's Harry Potter. With black card stock.

Daily Juggling Act: October 2014
http://dailyjugglingact.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
July 14, 2016. Friday, October 31, 2014. Well, I made it through my birthday lunch on Wednesday, but ended up seeing the doc yesterday. All symptoms indicate strep throat. Test results won't be in for 48 hours, but I started antibiotics last night. I sure hope things improve by this evening. The pain is horrible and much worse at night when I go horizontal. It's been a week since I've had a good night's sleep. Links to this post. Tuesday, October 28, 2014. For two days and believe it's helping. I thi...

Daily Juggling Act: March 2015
http://dailyjugglingact.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
July 14, 2016. Thursday, March 26, 2015. Spring break is over and so is the warmer weather. Snow flurries are predicted for this weekend. I continue to do well with my goal to read more. I'm currently a third of the way through my third library book. I truly hope this pace continues and reading becomes a big part of my life. It's nice to have a hobby and interest that doesn't have to cost a thing to enjoy, and takes up little-to-no room! And that's my update. Happy spring! Links to this post. While watch...

Daily Juggling Act: November 2014

July 14, 2016. Thursday, November 27, 2014. Links to this post. Sunday, November 23, 2014. Last night we kicked off our holidays with a walk through Winter Wonderland. It was drizzly but not cold. The boys and adults loved it. Unfortunately, due to rain and darkness, I don't have any pictures. While the rest of the family is focused on the move, I've been preparing for Thanksgiving dinner. I did all the shopping last week, and cooking and cleaning will begin tomorrow. Let the holidays begin! It looks lik...

July 14, 2016. Thursday, July 23, 2015. My weight lose journey has reached a plateau. Since returning from the mountains, I haven't lost any weight despite sticking to my diet and logging everything I eat. And worse, I realized this morning I've only lost five pounds in four months! So, yes, I might be stuck but I'm not discouraged. Besides, I'm also not gaining, which is a very good thing. Links to this post. Wednesday, July 22, 2015. The only significant change is Rupert's now sleeping on the carpet...

Daily Juggling Act: June 2015
http://dailyjugglingact.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
July 14, 2016. Friday, June 26, 2015. Sometimes Things Work Out. Our family room is small with a weird layout. The biggest problem is the fireplace. It's too large for the space and shoved into a corner. It's also an inefficient wood-burning fireplace. When burning wood the draft is so severe we stopped using it. So, a few years ago, when I learned we could convert to an electric fireplace, we didn't hesitate. (Our home is all electric.). Links to this post. Tuesday, June 23, 2015. I signed up online and...

Daily Juggling Act: April 2015
http://dailyjugglingact.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
July 14, 2016. Tuesday, April 28, 2015. For the last week, I've been slowly working my way through the first season of Criminal Minds. I'm a little over half way through and I'm still completely mystified. How on earth is this series currently in its tenth season? None of the regulars, or extras, can act one iota. It's so bad it's as if it has to be a joke and they're all not acting on purpose. Seriously, this show has some of the worse acting I've ever seen. Links to this post. Sunday, April 26, 2015.

Daily Juggling Act: January 2015

July 14, 2016. Saturday, January 31, 2015. Just as I had hoped, The Imitation Game. Was extremely thought-provoking. Better yet, it had all the components for the perfect movie-going experience – good story line; good set and costume design; and good acting. Primarily The Imitation Game. Is about how we really won WWII; and about the creation of the first computer. But there's a secondary storyline which, for me, made The Imitation Game. Yes, I'll be thinking about The Imitation Game. For a long time.

Daily Juggling Act: Home Safe Home

July 14, 2016. Sunday, August 2, 2015. Outside The Mucky Duck Captiva. Elliott 9 and Jonah 5). We returned yesterday from our annual beach vacation with my daughter's family. For the last seven years we've spent one week each summer in the same beautiful condo on Sanibel Island. Although the lodging is always the same, each year's experience is different mostly due to the weather and maturity level of each of the grandsons. But I'm assuming all the rain was why the no-see-ums. Nevertheless, it was a good...
