Journalism is the first rough draft of history.". Thursday, June 9, 2011. Hot town, summer in the city. I start interning at KXAN, Austin's NBC news affiliate, on Tuesday. I'm extremely excited, albeit a little nervous. I'll be doing my best to update this blog on my experiences into a real world newsroom! But, for now, that begs the question: what shall I do for these four days in Austin? Of course, there's 6th street and Zilker park, but I'm most excited to peruse Whole Foods!
