UPDATE: On 4.04.10, we sent a check for $50 to Jen’s ministry in Cambodia. On 507.10, we sent $50 to Unreined Ministries to help build an orphanage in Kenya. For every $8 e-book purchased, I will give $4 to missions. My main focus will be a group of kiddos in Cambodia (some are orphans, some are little ones sold in the sex trade). My friend Jen. Is over there serving these precious children, and I know how desperate their need is. I will also be contributing $ to my mom-in-law’s amazing ministry.

Gorkon’s Little Place on the Web. Radical Read Along Chapter 4 – How DO we share God’s Glory with the World. The one quote in the book that gripped me the most is this one:. Based on the purpose of God we’ve seen in Scripture, shouldn’t every Christian’s heart be ultimately consumed with how we can make God’s glory known in all the world? How can we even do this? That is a radical faith in God that is needed in order to make His glory known throughout the world or does it? Sure you do. God may just h...

May 3, 5:15pm. Add stuff to his baby book! And totally off-topic I’ve been hesitant to bring this up, Car (I so don’t want to hurt or offend you), but I’d love to hear where you are in your relationship with God. The reason I say that is when I hear hopeless situations like that, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that nothing can fix it but a miracle. An act of God. No amount of human straining is going to change that kind of stuff. I can do nothing. May 2, 8:46pm EST. Conversation between my mother-in-l...

Here’s the deal. You have two choices:. 1 You can read the book a little bit at a time for the next 10 months (a new installment will post every 1-3 days). This is totally free. 2 Or you can buy it now. And read it all at once. And now, some background. In the fall of 2009, my husband encouraged me to try this crazy thing called NaNoWriMo. National Novel Writing Month) where thousands of people from all over the place commit to writing a 50,000 word novel from November 1 to November 30. Even if the book ...

Hi, I’m Marla. What would you like to know? I’ll start with Mr. Wind-Beneath-My-Wings–my hubby, Gabe Taviano. We’ve been married for 12 years, and he’s my web designer, marketer, adviser, best bud, and lots of other stuff. We have three girlies. Olivia is 9, Ava’s 7, and Nina’s 4. They’re all cute and blond and tons of fun to be around. They keep us hopping, and we love them to pieces. We live in Columbus, OH where Gabe designs stuff. And works part-time as webmaster for our church. Is a good start.
