I'm going to keep this blog up, since it has so many pictures, but I'll mainly post to Facebook and you can always follow my posts over on Sex and the Knitty. For a little snapshot of our lives. Wutzke Family: December 2010

Friday, December 17, 2010. When Banana Bread Goes Wrong. Over the last few years, with all the cooking and baking I've done, who would have thought that the big wreck I'd have would involve one of the simplest quick breads ever? I made a vegan banana bread that's very similar to ones I've made bfore and I just didn't let it bake long enough aparrently. After a clean toothpick, I turned out a globby mess, scooped it back onto a cookie sheet and voila. You have a cake wreck. Posted by Sally HP. No matter w...

Friday, July 23, 2010. Our new favorite routine is to eat dinner outside before playing a little longer and coming in for baths and bedtime. They love the novelty of al fresco dining and I love the lack of clean-up! He's all about making faces these days for his 'movies'. He never slows down. Posted by Sally HP.

Tuesday, November 01, 2011. Halloween and Home Improvement. And, all the while, he's patiently waiting out the chaos. Charlie's visit to the pumpkin patch at Klicker's. They told us all about how they've smeared peanut butter on an electrified fence to prevent this from happening.just what my boys need to hear :). Where are the pictures of Henry's class trip to Klicker's, you may be asking yourself? Well, I'd have tons if I hadn't marked the date wrong in my calendar :(. Sad swollen mouth :(. My Coffee C...

Wutzke Family: New Patio!
http://wutzkefamily.blogspot.com/2011/10/new-patio.html
Monday, October 17, 2011. We knew we wanted to extend the patio, but thought we were going to do pavers. In order to do it right, it's a LOT of work, lots of steps, and the pavers are pretty spendy. Fate stepped in and a concrete company was in the neighborhood to complete some more of the sidewalks. I asked them to give us a quote and the number was good enough for us! Because we have a gas pipe coming out, we're able to convert our grill to gas, so it'll be ready to use all the time on the side patio i...

Wednesday, September 21, 2011. Oh Lordy, where has the time gone? We had a fantastic summer filled with many adventures and are now in the swing of a new school year. Henry is enjoying Kindergarten, and Charlie is in preschool two mornings a week. I've really enjoyed the extra time with just Charlie, but we sure miss Henry when he's gone all day! Jared finished his first Olympic Distance Tri-athlon. I finished my first full marathon! Or was that Thor? Play with bubble guns. Built a play structure! Charli...

Wutzke Family: June 2010
http://wutzkefamily.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 28, 2010. Moving Day.or at least Loading Day. The sky here can be so deceptive. Although it was slightly overcast all day, the only thing that cloud cover served to do was create a nice little cocoon for all the sweltering air! It was 85 degrees by the time I went out to buy a final roll of packing tape at 8:30 in the morning. The humidity was crazy, and all I could think was 'I better get some more cash to tip these movers! More Bars (or is it more boxes? Posted by Sally HP. Charlie's first...

Wutzke Family: September 2010
http://wutzkefamily.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 29, 2010. Posted by Sally HP. It seems as if this summer heat will be sticking around for awhile, and my days are getting any less full, so it's time to start getting runs in when I can. Which means I'll usually have the kids with me. Good thing we bought our handy jogger! While it's a little awkward to get used to running without moving my upper body, it give me a lot of flexibility and freedom so I'll get used to it. Plus, who could mind running with these gorgeous views? Saturday,...
