We had a party at Aunt Trish's house and the kids had tons of fun. The 101 degree heat was a bit much, but the kids didn't seem to mind. Wednesday, February 06, 2008. White Robin CD release. This past Saturday, all of our hard work paid off! We've been practicing for MONTHS to help Robin with his CD release show. He recently came out with a solo album and had a party to release it to the public. It was so much fun! There was even a local group called Still on the Hill. That performed during "intermission". It was great! I was worn out afterwards, but I had such a great experience! D I even got to sing a solo in the show! Is it on youtube?

Mom's Sugar Free Apple Pie. 2 pie crusts-make your own or buy the premade in the refrigerator section at the grocery store. 1 can unsweetened, frozen concentrated apple juice. 4-5 cups sliced apples (I like mixing Granny Smith with Honey Crisp). 1 Line pie plate with uncooked pie crust. 3 Add the apple mixture to the pie crusts and top with another pie crust, making several slits in the crust.

But TODAY, I sold a piece to someone I've never met. They have my work in their home. I don't know who it is, but a part of me is with them. It's hard to let go of something so important to you. Something that you created from your innermost being. But you know what? It's so cool at the same time! Someone enjoyed my work enough to BUY it! You go, girl!

Saturday, January 26, 2008. So last night, Delia and I decided to have a girl's night. And what else would we do but get our ears pierced? That's right, folks! We got our second earring holes! D It was so much fun! We had been talking about getting our ears pierced for a while now, and so it was great to finally get it done. We both chose sparkly studs; hers are round and mine are square. And we both love them! And no, it didn't hurt. I actually wanted to do it again after it was all over!
