Hadfield Wing, Northern General Hospital. Replacing Victorian premises with modern facilities for the second largest NHS foundation trust. The Sir Robert Hadfield Wing was developed by Kajima and opened in 2006 and stands as a stunning gateway building to the Northern General Hospital complex. A major corporate headquarters building, located on the north side of Red Lion Square, developed in partnership with Stanhope Plc. The seven-storey building provides high quality office space in an historic London square with both residential and commercial uses. The design had to address complex planning constraints.
