November 2-4, 2013. The third day on the road was a trial. Too much interstate driving under gray skies through monotonous Midwest scenery. Mile after mile of flat Ohio/Indiana/Illinois. I got cranky and irritable. Finally, we reached St Louis, where I had reserved a 4-star hotel at a very reasonable price, using Priceline. Each brass square in this three-by-three grid plays a different wind chime-like note when stepped on. Of course, both Alisa and I had to do our own musical dance! And finally, home!
