Adventures of DP and CB. Monday, 21 April 2008. Welcome to Keukenhof, Home of the Tulip. We visited Keukenhof shortly after arriving in Amsterdam on Saturday (12 April 2008). Adventures of DP and CB. Wednesday, 28 May 2008. This has got to be one of the most beautiful places in the world. That is if you like mountains, lakes, and castles. We are talking about at least one true fairy tale castle. No not that one, this one (below). Cheryl and I visited this area of Germany in November 2007. This is Bavaria in all of it's glory. The castles are situated near a beautiful little town called Füssen. Castle of the High Swan County. This was the childhood home of Mad King Lugwig II.

Adventures of DP and CB. Tuesday, 15 July 2008. Went to see Stonehenge on Sunday (13 July 2008). It's a pretty remarkable place which is a good thing since it would make this a really boring blog post if it wasn't. To get there from London, I found it rather easy to go by train to the town of Salisbury. Salisbury. Stonehenge is about a 35 minute bus ride away. I hopped on the Stonehenge Bus Tour.
