Tribalism is displayed when discrimination is practiced against those not of one’s ethnic, religious, or cultural background. This ‘them’ vs. ‘us’ approach reflects historical contests and conflicts related to resources. Will it fade away? Not likely, because of the increasing crevasse between population growth and necessary resources globally. What of the USA and Australia, with the longest record of racism?
