It has been a solid month of fog.every day.a luxury of living on the ocean, in the month of May. I am ok with the fog, it allows me to hide from the world for a short period of time. I look out the window, I see a grey haze, that is it. Last evening we had a monthly gathering of the "diabetes group". Life is good.

I started nursing school devastated and stressed and continued working overnights while trying to make it to morning classes which didn't fair well for me. I made a huge decision to move to a casual or "on call" position with the hospital thus loosing my qualification for benefits in 2010 and making finances a bit unsure too. I went hiking in Aizona. I had a CT scan on Monday to monitor the progress of my lung cavity (which came from Valley Fever). There was a time when the cavity was growing… each CT showing it a little bigger. Then it began to shrink instead, which was a major relief. And I just got the results from Monday’s CT this afternoon… and my lung cavity is GONE! A Girl, Her Pump, and Reflections on Life.
