DurMan's Hobby Blog: March 2012
http://durhobbies.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
A lot of everything, and a lot of nothing. Tuesday, March 13, 2012. Hmm, maybe I wasn't pretending. Well look at that. Has it only been a week? I believe it has! The basil is doing fantastically, the lettuce is clearly taking control of the place, and the parsley has sprouted! Oh, and speaking of the lettuce, I did a very light harvest in order to remove a few leaves I inadvertently damaged or were getting a touch too big for their own good. They tasted, well, like lettuce! Thursday, March 1, 2012.

DurMan's Hobby Blog: September 2009
http://durhobbies.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
A lot of everything, and a lot of nothing. Tuesday, September 15, 2009. The school year is getting quickly back into full swing, so I have considerably less time to work on my hobby-type stuff. I am the Vice President of the Gamers Council, the newly founded gaming club on campus. That takes up a chunk of my time, as does all of my readings and projects for class. Quite honestly it's all a real pain. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). There was an error in this gadget.

DurMan's Hobby Blog: Good things come to those who... procrastinate...
http://durhobbies.blogspot.com/2011/07/since-ive-been-terribly-slow-working-on.html
A lot of everything, and a lot of nothing. Thursday, July 7, 2011. Good things come to those who. procrastinate. Since I've been terribly slow working on the little guy, and since I don't see my ambition to finish him raising in the near future, here is the next Sack Boy I'm working on. As you can see, this one is a touch smaller. Also I have a more artistic piece in mind that I need to get cracking on. I have until mid August to finish it. July 8, 2011 at 1:52 PM. DurMan's Hobby Blog: Pretending to have a Green Thumb
http://durhobbies.blogspot.com/2012/03/pretending-to-have-green-thumb.html
A lot of everything, and a lot of nothing. Thursday, March 1, 2012. Pretending to have a Green Thumb. I decided, after getting an unrequested invitation to join a national gardening club which, from what I've read, is a pretty crummy organization, to make myself a little herb garden. To make it better and cleaner I decided to make it a hydroponic garden, since I love it when people think I'm a druggie. Here the thing is in all its glory. Everything here has about 2 week's growth, so this thing is just.

DurMan's Hobby Blog: April 2010
http://durhobbies.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
A lot of everything, and a lot of nothing. Sunday, April 25, 2010. The Archipelago has been displayed and put to rest. I feel that school has kinda burned me out, so once summer vacation gets here, I may take a rest from the art stuff for a while. Before that, of course, I have another piece to send up to the Gallery Project in Ann Arbor. I made good progress on it the other day, so I now only have a bit more modeling and painting to do before it's street ready. I'll keep you posted. Maybe.

DurMan's Hobby Blog: June 2011
http://durhobbies.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
A lot of everything, and a lot of nothing. Friday, June 24, 2011. The Power of Sack Boy. Funny, isn't it, what one little Sack Boy can do? Wednesday, June 22, 2011. Reginald P. Sackerton. Here's a quick step-by-step of the creation of my sackboy sculpture. Here's my SackBoy, Reginald P. Sackerton. I love this pose, so I used it for my sculpt. I started with a simple wire skeleton to build on, starting with the feet, legs, spine, and head. Skipped a few steps between pictures here, in case you didn't noti...
