Saturday, November 05, 2005. I watched Dan (the youngest cousin) play basketball last night. He really goes for it. I was quite impressed. He needs a bit of practice in getting the ball in the hoop but he is definitely a team player. Ours was bigger though. It was the biggest one the Pearce family ever caught. Thursday, January 12, 2006. Friday, December 09, 2005. Finally catch the train. This is the longest single train journey I have ever been on. (I took the train from London, Waterloo (UK) to Amsterdam Central (NL) once, but that is not as far and that was two trains). It only cost AU$66,- but had shit seats, was jam packed and it was the night train. I didn’t get much sleep, poss half an hour. Saturday, December 10, 2005. End of bike day one, done 161 km’s. Sunday, December 11, 2005. Total km’s so far 998.
