Sharing 'The Faith' with the world. I love you Jesus, my love above all things. Saturday, 5 July 2008. The Eucharist - A Symbol? Long winded prayers about peace". A symptom of the relativism which sees God as a means to an end rather than an end in Himself. 5 July 2008 at 23:32. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Cardinals' Palace: Feast of Christ the King. . . Again
http://cardinalspalace.blogspot.com/2009/11/feast-of-christ-king-again.html
Taste and see that the Lord is good. Sunday, 22 November 2009. Feast of Christ the King. . . Again. Today, the Feast of Christ the King, has been an odd one for for the past two years. I'm sure many traditional Catholics, or at least bi-ritual Catholics, feel the same way. I already celebrated this festival earlier on the year, you see. Now, however, when we all have, or should have, access to the different expressions of the same Roman Rite, surely some kind of harmonisation of the calendars is in order?

The Cardinals' Palace: Chevetogne Abbey
http://cardinalspalace.blogspot.com/2009/11/chevetogne-abbey.html
Taste and see that the Lord is good. Tuesday, 24 November 2009. I've been rather a westerner in both theology and liturgy but the most likely candidate for union in the West, the Anglican Communion, continues down its path to oblivion, we must look East in bringing more of people who claim to confess Christ into the One True Fold. The Cardinals' Palace: November 2009
http://cardinalspalace.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Taste and see that the Lord is good. Tuesday, 24 November 2009. Wrong kind of ecumenism. True ecumenism should be about the shepherd calling back the lost sheep to the fold, into the comforting arms of the Church, under the leadership of the Supreme Pontiff, the Vicar of Christ. Any other kind is wrong, misguided and potentially disastrous. That is plainly wrong. Archbishop Nichols, please don't repeat that mistake. . . Chevetogne Abbey is in Belgium and is dedicated to just such unity. Founded in 19...

The Cardinals' Palace: No trousers for women
http://cardinalspalace.blogspot.com/2009/11/no-trousers-for-women.html
Taste and see that the Lord is good. Wednesday, 18 November 2009. No trousers for women. I was amused to read yesterday about an arcane law, still technicaly in force in Paris, which bans women from wearing trousers. It made me think of the following quotation.
