Food is our common ground, a universal experience. Sunday, January 13, 2013. So I had the main ingredient, I just needed to decide what to do with it. I didn't want to make it all into the same recipe, that would get old by. Tuesday. I decided on two different recipes. 2 or 3 zucchini, washed, cut in half and then each half cut into thirds the long way. I take about 3 of these in my lunch and it is plenty! So good, so simple and still pretty healthy. Sauteed Zucchini in Cous-Cous with lemon. 1 or 2 lemons.

http://eatingwiththemillers.blogspot.com/2013/01/its-been-long-time.html

Food is our common ground, a universal experience. Sunday, January 13, 2013. It's been a long time. I've still been cooking, I swear! Every year around this time I start making promises to write more, eat healthy, walk more, cook better, have a cleaning jihad on my house and all in all, do all the things I didn't do last year that I wanted to. Does anyone else do that? I cooked a lot today. A lot. Cold, rainy Sundays are the perfect setting to get things done. Let's start with breakfast, shall we? Subscr...

Food is our common ground, a universal experience. Friday, June 4, 2010. Girl's night and chocolate mousse. My husband, thankfully, is not super sports obsessed but he does love a good fight now and then. Before you start thinking that I married a hooligan, let me clarify that he likes to WATCH fights on tv. 2 cups heavy whipping cream. Combine the milk with the pudding packets and mix well. (it will get very thick! Dessert, try the mouse! It is also great in a graham crust and served as a pie.

Food is our common ground, a universal experience. Sunday, August 29, 2010. So, like most people I know, I grew up HATING certain foods. Lima beans (we had to eat one for very year we were (are) alive), mushrooms, fish, most soups and all cooked veggies. In the last few years my culinary horizons have expanded, I have moved to a different country (Canada counts as a different country! Had your mother ever heard of a balsamic reduction or ever used fresh garlic and herbs? Probably not. Does she now?

Food is our common ground, a universal experience. Thursday, August 19, 2010. It's been a long time. After starting work again I haven't been near as inspired to blog or really to even come up with something new and creative for dinner. This week we dedicated dinners to new recipes and what a week it has been. Are you ready for this? It could be a really long post, but I promise, a very delicious one. Monday: Pan Seared Pork Chops with a Strongbow sauce, french fries and fresh corn sauteed with bacon.

Eating With The Fishes

Eating With The Fishes. Running a one-man mobile aquarium service in the Tampa area, I'll often anticipate what might be the most rewarding munchable in whatever part of town I find myself on a given day- - hence the incredibly clever name of the blog. Since my road time is mostly during business hours, usually I'll be goin' on about some lunchtime jam - - but often the best part of my day is when I get home and yank a Wusthof off the wall, so I linked up a home cooking. The shelves aren't very well-stoc...

Eating with the Rabbits | A vegan food blog

Eating with the Rabbits. A vegan food blog. Welcome to Eating with the Rabbits,. A vegan food blog. It’s day 19 of VeganMoFo. Today’s topic is “lunch on the go”. I have this adorable bento box with rabbits on it that I love, but I don’t eat from it very often, so I went through some old bento photos in an attempt to motivate myself to use it more. They’re over a year old, but I’ve never posted them on here, so I hope you still like them! On the left: orange and rocket salad with poppy seed dressing.

Eating with us

Having fun feeding a family with 3 growing boys. Pull up a chair and join us! Monday, November 21, 2016. April's version of Deb's friend Stacy's Sweet Potato Casserole. That's how it goes doesn't it? Sharing recipes is a little like sharing folk songs, things get changed as we pass them on. My version is a little bigger than Deb's, and a little less sweet, but the idea is still the same. Total deliciousness. 35-4 lbs canned yams or sweet potatoes. Mix all together and pour into 9x13 pan. 1 cup brown sugar.
