January 27, 2015. The final result ended up with purely 100% sausage-meat from the butchers, with a few herbs and a some seasoning, I really wanted these pastries to be all about the meat! It’s taken me a while to put this up, mostly because I made it on a weekend were is was miserable an rainy and seeking comfort food, then the following week summer arrived and comfort food was completely out of my mind. Stuffed in the centre with a cranberry sausage meat for a festive feel and wrapped in puff pastry these were perfect bite-sized treats.
