The area is justly famous as an escape for visitors, who come to enjoy the magnificent scenery and its literary and artistic heritage. Loughrigg Tarn is just a short stroll away and is one of the most picturesque small lakes in the National Park. Or simply relax in the spacious garden or in front of one of the open fires.
