Saturday, August 20, 2011. Links to this post. Friday, December 10, 2010. Joining the land of the living. Some years we seem to manage to avoid all the crud that gets passed around this time year. We just be-bop our way through all the germs and illness without a second thought. No Kleenex piled all over the house, no hacking, no coughing, no Nyquil required, no chorus of moaning and groaning echoing through the halls. To feel like death warmed over. Embracing My Chaos: Back again...

http://embracingmychaos.blogspot.com/2010/04/back-again.html

Tuesday, April 20, 2010. The past couple of weeks I've been working over 2x the number of hours I usually do and have had my hands full keeping up with everything. As a result, both my blog posts and my time over on Secular Homeschoolers.com have suffered greatly and I'm a little surprised by how much I have missed both of them. Things have settled back down to what passes for normal around here so I should be posting more regularly now. I'm looking forward to it! April 20, 2010 at 4:58 PM.

Embracing My Chaos: Camp El Tesoro "Trees in Autumn" Program

http://embracingmychaos.blogspot.com/2010/11/camp-el-tesoro-trees-in-autumn-program.html

Tuesday, November 16, 2010. Camp El Tesoro "Trees in Autumn" Program. It took something really special to kick my butt out of my self-imposed blogging hiatus and today we had such a great time that I just had to share it! M and I spent most of the morning out at Camp El Tesoro at their "Trees in Autumn" homeschool program and I cannot. Say enough good things about it! Jane, Heather, Wheldon, and their crew did an amazing job (including Linda - who certainly knows her way around hot biscuits and honey!

http://embracingmychaos.blogspot.com/2010/06/it-just-goes-to-show-ya.html

Sunday, June 20, 2010. It Just Goes To Show Ya'. As soon as you think you've got a handle on life - it'll teach you different. I haven't been around Cyberland much for the past 6 weeks or so and I'm going through withdrawls! I have much to share so be prepared! As soon as I boot my baby back up I'll be off to show my face around SecularHomeschool.com's forums - my favorite hangout that I've missed dearly! August 25, 2010 at 1:00 AM. Embracing My Chaos: Early Teacher Appreciation

http://embracingmychaos.blogspot.com/2010/04/early-teacher-appreciation.html

Wednesday, April 28, 2010. For years I have sent little gifts and thank you cards to school with M. during Teacher Appreciation Week. Until this year when we started to homeschooling. To be honest it was such a relief not to have to worry about birthdays, class parties, goody bags, teacher presents etc. that it never occurred to me that I now qualify as the teacher. Until I came home the other day and found this on the island in our kitchen:. So, Happy Early Teacher Appreciation Week to all of you!

EMbracing MS.org | Loving life, even when things are challenging.

Loving life, even when things are challenging. Mar 22, 2015. I feel the need to write a post about the many, many questions which often run through my head. (Maybe 2 or more times a day.) Having something that will supposedly last for your entire life can have its ups and downs. Some days, it’s more like lows and lowers. Well, it’s been a bit that way for the past couple of weeks. Nevertheless, I still ask questions. Will I feel pain in my feet, left leg, neck, and head for the rest of my life? I felt th...

The tales of a Robyn: Life from a hatchling's view. Saturday, August 22, 2015. The world is a massive massive place my friends and as my heart is taking in all of the wonders and history, my spirit within me feels smaller, but also more invincible. There are moments of doubts and worries of being on my own, but that is exactly how I feel in this life. I feel alive and new. Know yourself and change your habits to probe deeper and deeper until your conscience is formed the right way. Never stop growing and...

Maandag 17 augustus 2015. Jim Butcher: Storm Front. Storm Front is the first novel in The Dresden Files. A series by Jim Butcher. I read the second one a couple of months ago because I found it rather cheap. I knew my father likes the series, it is a very popular Urban Fantasy series and I wanted to find out for myself. I did like Fool Moon. So I decided to collect the series too. Storm Front has 307 pages with a 7-page review and I got it from Bol. I loved him too. And Mister, the cat. I’ll be hom...

Embracing My Chaos | Loving the craziness of homeschool, homemaking, and life with my family

Loving the craziness of homeschool, homemaking, and life with my family. Grocery Shopping with Little Ones. January 26, 2015. Flu and other various illnesses struck our house for a while, but thankfully, we’re all much better now. This week, we’ve been able to once again get out of the house and resume life as normal. Woo-hoo! That’s definitely not what I was thinking at that moment! But I told them we could definitely come back since they did such a good job. 4 View the shopping trip as a lesson in mann...

Monday, May 22, 2017. You Have to Start Somewhere. When I allow myself to stop long enough to think about it, it makes me so sad the thought that I haven't blogged faithfully in sooooo long! In so many ways I feel like I am beginning to see a light at the end of the tunnel. My baby is three! My oldest went to middle school this year! Everyone is out of diapers! Everyone sleeps through the night! When we go to baseball games, we don't need to take a stroller! I don't have to nurse or spoon feed anyone!

Een zonnige dag in Brisbane. The Climb in Brisbane😉. Wij waren stomverb...
