Haf Doz'n Reasons....: July 2008
http://hafdozenreasons.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 30, 2008. The View. And Some Questions. Besides the zucchinis we have everywhere I now have more new decor to add in the kitchen. Beings as we dont have any window coverings up yet (2 yrs and waiting for me to make a decision) I add a splash of orange-to-red on the window sills every summer. It really adds in a homey feel to the place. We also need to have a splash of green so we added a jalepeno pepper. Now if you want be a window peeker. And I know you want to! I will help you peek!
Haf Doz'n Reasons....: January 2008
http://hafdozenreasons.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 28, 2008. Well I finished the masterpiece! It was for Clark's 14th birthday. Fun was had by all! When the 14 years olds could not use their energy in a productive way. I came up with a plan. It worked out great. I think they even may have enjoyed the lesson. I had them make pizza. They are fast learners. As soon as the dough was "warming" they were out. The door to use up any remaining pent up energy. The evening before we took them to a movie, out for pizza,. And to the arcade. So the tr...

Monday, October 6, 2014. Back In The Saddle. Cranking this ol' blog back up. With many many hours to think out in the hay field I decided to crank up the ol' blog once again. I missed. All of you out there in the bloggysphere. I miss. The connection I had built with many wonderful people. I missed. Learning about your lives. I missed. I am aiming to be a great big loser! Enjoy big city living while making the adjustment from the serene hayfield setting which I have sorely missed this past week being home.

Haf Doz'n Reasons....: April 2008
http://hafdozenreasons.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 29, 2008. On The Road Again. Zach got a good report on Friday at Mayo. He just has to take the time to let it heal. And to heal completely which will just.take.time. They put him in a hard short arm cast so we both walked out of there excited. It was not a long arm cast like they said originally. He was no longer in a soft cast that he could move that hand around in. He did well while they took out all the sutures other than the last one. He said it felt like there was a tight rubberband.

Embracing The Odyssey | Marriage, Adoption, Motherhood, Faith, Family, Life.
Thoughts on America First. February 24, 2017. As a nursing mother, I find myself with more time than usual to sit and think these days. In the wee, finally quiet hours of the late night or early morning, I sit in the fuzzy glow of the bedside lamp, the light muted by a t-shirt thrown over the shade so as to not wake Charlie. I stare down at my beautiful baby boy, watching his eyelids flutter with milky dreams as his tiny, perfect fingers curl over my breast, and I am overwhelmed by a gamut of emotions.

Embracing the Ordinary
Sunday, September 4, 2016. Since it is just about time for first grade to start (! It is now or never to get this posted, more for myself than anything. Overall I would say our year of kindergarten was a pretty smashing success. He was excited for school just about every day, and didn't want to stop when summer came. Some of my main goals were to introduce many different things and to give him an excitement for learning, and I feel like both of those things happened well. The guide itself is very well do...

Embracing the Paradox
I choose to embrace the life that I have in Jesus, especially when it seems like a paradox. Thursday, March 15, 2012. It was one of those Florida days when it is hard to tell if it is going to downpour or just sprinkle off and on. Mandi was scheduled to sing at an outdoor event that afternoon. The event coordinator told me that the sound guy had almost shut it down twice because of the weather. She didn’t know if Mandi would get to sing. And I thought to myself, what a wonderful world! Maybe it is becaus...
