Tuesday, January 1, 2013. Being back teaching this year as put a strain on my time, to say the least. I have had many ups and downs, moments of exhaustion and exhilaration. But through it all, my three loves have remained at the center. The fall went by in a blur, but here are a few moments worth savoring. Boo at the Zoo" costumes - my scandinavian indians! Can't believe this picture really came before the next one! Jack and Jill trick or treating at the Concordia dorms. Our little Ollie turned 7!

Monday, September 3, 2012. I am more than a week behind on this important post. Mostly because I am just behind on most things, but partly because I didn't know what to say. It is a day that mothers think about almost from the moment their child is born. The first day of Kindergarten: that symbol of letting go. Here is the first Kindergartener in our house. Isn't she something? To Mount Rushmore,. And the awe-inspiring Lower Falls. And all the way back home. Money has nothing on memories.

Tuesday, June 29, 2010. On Saturday we went to a local dairy farm for their annual "Dairy Days." It was VERY hot but we had a good time, and luckily got there early so we didn't have to wait in long lines for food or other activities. Here are some pics from our day:. The "Corn Box" was probably their favorite thing; they could've played in here all day. They actually had 4 of these huge corn boxes, and it was such a great idea and good alternative to sand! Here is Emily making a snow, I mean corn angel.

Monday, August 29, 2011. The view from our room:. We were on our own most of the time, but we did have two company dinners. The first one was kind of a luau theme and everyone got a lei.
