Emily Dickinson's Drawer. C’est quoi ce truc? Abraham knows he has to choose one of the doors that have appeared in front of him, but he’s not sure why, or how he knows. He’s sure he’s read about things like this, in the short stories in the magazines people leave in the buses he touts for on the main axe slicing through … Lire la suite →. What do shoes mean to you? I Found The Phrase To Every Thought. I found the phrase to every thought. I ever had, but one;. And that defies me,- as a hand. Did try to chalk the sun. To races nurtured in the dark;-. For each beloved hour. Sharp pittances of years,. And coffers heaped with tears. One Need Not Be A Chamber To Be Haunted. I met one, - f...

Emily Dickinson

The poem starts with the remembrance of a moment, of thinking herself, of it appearing to her that she is dead: but she is not dead. This is the first of a three ‘appearances’, or false beliefs which start the poem working:. 8216;It was not death, for I stood up,. And all the Dead, lie down –. And fitted to a frame,.
