New Kikki K Lilac Time Planner - Mab is Mab
http://www.mabismab.com/2014/08/new-kikki-k-lilac-time-planner.html
New Kikki K Lilac Time Planner. I got an exciting delivery this week; the new Kikki K time planner! There has been a lot of discussion about the lilac collection so I thought I would post a mini review. The planner is so beautiful. The colour scheme is gorgeous - lilac leather with gold foil diamonds. The leather itself felt very soft and the size was good. (I ordered the Large which is A5 Filofax equivalent). I like the monthly and weekly views, and the expenses section. The to-do lists are perforat...

http://www.mabismab.com/2015/08/the-harry-potter-studio-tour-round-ii.html
The Harry Potter Studio Tour - Round II. I recently had a weekend in London with my mum, in which we took a trip to the Harry Potter Studio Tour in Watford. It was my mums first visit, and my second; she read all of the books along with my brother and me when they were released (after we finished with them, of course! So was it as good the second time around? Here are a few photos from my visit. You can read all about my first trip to the studios in a lot more detail here! Imagine it: the PERFECT e-reader.

The Harry Potter studio tour - Mab is Mab
http://www.mabismab.com/2012/04/harry-potter-studio-tour.html
The Harry Potter studio tour. On Saturday, I found myself fidgeting with excitement, on the way to Watford for the Warner Bro's Harry Potter Studio Tour. I had booked the tickets for this so far in advance that I had almost forgotten I had them as the date approached. (I had also unknowingly chosen the worst weekend for travel. Ever. Don't ever try to get anywhere on the Easter weekend! Not only this, but you learn how certain things were filmed (such as Hagrid's height difference) and get an insight int...

A recent foray into celeb autobiographies - Mab is Mab
http://www.mabismab.com/2015/07/a-recent-foray-into-celeb.html
A recent foray into celeb autobiographies. I’ve recently read a lot of non-fiction, and I’ve been loving the small break away from what could be called my “usual” selection of darkly intense characters and situations! What was I going to read? WHO was I going to read? I approached autobiographies with trepidation: if I bought one, would I know what the author was on about half the time? How meta would their book be? Would it matter I hadn’t had much experience of their other work? I chose a couple of wom...

Studying English as a reader; a discussion - Mab is Mab
http://www.mabismab.com/2014/01/studying-english-as-reader-discussion.html
Studying English as a reader; a discussion. I quit English Literature. There, I said it. I started studying books, and then I didn't see it through. Something of a blasphemy in this book blogging world, eh? When so many of you are preparing your applications for college or university, hedging bets on Literature spurred on by a love for reading, I can't help but be reminded of the hugely disappointing experience that English Literature was for me. On the flip side, I took English Language separately to En...
