Let me just say it took us A LOT longer than 7 days! My goal was to teach J about the greatness of God as expressed through His creation.

I try to do most everything on the list before repeating (so he doesn’t get tired of one activity quickly) though I’m not strict with this! The goal is to have fun! If he is really interested in a certain activity, then we will do it more often. For example, right now he loves to glue. So we glue a lot! Glue Practice (collage; cotton balls).

Creating memories that will last through eternity. Sunday, November 26, 2006. First Time at the Beach. We finally got him up. He did a great job staying in a great mood. It took him awhile to get up 100%. Here he is with dad still half asleep. Here he is with mom getting a good yawn in before hitting the beach. We can't wait for our next beach adventure. Simeon loved the adventure and I'm sure he can't wait for the next. Isn't he sooooo cute. We are have so much fun everyday! He is a wonderful blessing.

Tuesday, August 7, 2012. I'm so on top of things! For Clara's birthday we celebrated with my family on the first Sunday in May. She got a little chocolate cake of her own with pink sprinkles. She got lots of fun presents and birthday money and balloons. I got a picture of the cake, but I don't think I got any pictures of her unwrapping presents there, but let me assure you that she was surely spoiled! Getting higher and more hilarious walking past each one, so that was indeed one of the things she got.

The white lights and Christmas music playing everywhere.And I love the opportunities to share the Christmas story with my boys again and again! This year we bought a Fisher Price nativity set. Wow, was that ever a wonderful purchase! I found a book at our church library called "My First Story of Christmas" by Tim Dowley. It is perfect! It is a joy to watch. A few of my favorite things. Saturday, July 7, 2012. On Thursday June 21st through Tuesday June 26th we took a little trip back to Iowa. We drove to Davenport to my parents on Thursday evening and boys did great, they were very excited to see Grandma and Papa. Friday morning Papa took the boys and I for a Gator ride to Uncle Corey and Aunt Erin's house were they played in the dirt pile with their cousins Cole and Colin's trucks. They were in truck nirvana.
