CORINA REAY JOINS AS CAMPAIGN MANAGER (Jan12). Corina Reay worked for the Ecos Trust for 10 years. The Somerset-based organisation promoted sustainable building and construction, but towards the end of 2011, it folded. Julia remembered Corina from when she was a Trustee of Ecos and got in touch. E For Good was extremely lucky to have recruited her as our first full-time employee. Amongst other things, Corina is running our Clear Out Electricals Week the first of which is in Grantham and Stamford, in March.

Clean Up | E For Good
http://www.eforgood.org/clean-up
We want consumers and businesses to rethink their approach to e-waste. Using toxic materials is environmentally destructive and design for disposability has led to a throwaway culture that is supremely wasteful. We will be encouraging innovation that reduces waste and reuses equipment wherever it makes sense to do so. We’ll promote good practice in waste suppliers. We’ll give consumers and businesses tips on how to make the most of their e-waste. We’ll create new markets for reused products within the UK.

We will be encouraging the public to clear out their drawers, sheds and garages of any e-waste they can find.
