Wednesday, November 19, 2014. A beautiful luncheon in Townsville. A few weeks ago I attended the Women of Achievement. Luncheon. I was honoured when host Kylie Bartlett (from Kim Bartlett Master Jewellers. Asked me to be on a panel of other women who were changing the traditional work structure, by shaking up the concept of a traditional 9-to-5 office job and had become self employed. The event is a fabulous three course lunch served by my favourite restaurant A Touch of Salt. Skye from Sky Foundation.

Wednesday, April 30, 2014. A few little updates at home. They always say that a carpenter's home always needs work and I can confidently say that an interior designer's house is never fully decorated either! Between work, and small renovations still going on, I never seem to get the chance to just decorate at home. This weekend I finally had a couple of hours free to play around with some new styling at home! They have turned out absolutely stunning and I plan to do one each year and for each holiday!

Sunday, February 9, 2014. Stunning Cottages - Edwardian Queenslanders. I just stumbled upon the realestate.com.au. Galleries and wasted quite a lot of time! They have lots of pictures of everything from bedrooms to gardens, and the part I liked best was that they were all real homes (I'm assuming that most have been sold through realestate.com.au). Thursday, June 19, 2014. I'm working on the design for my new office at home. It's a small room so I'm trying to pack as much function and style into the little space that I can. One problem is that the best wall for cabinetry and shelving (thanks to the room dimensions) has a large window in it, so now I'm looking at options for built-ins around windows. Lots of people think that because there's a window on the wall, it's an unusable space, but hopefully these picture will prove you wrong. Cool designer...
