Tuesday, July 22, 2014. Summer is almost over! Wow, my last post was about calving and now summer is almost over! Since my last post, we have hauled cattle to pasture, gotten the crops in, sprayed several times, got first cutting of hay put up and hauled, second cutting is cut, raked and some of it baled and hauled. Sunday, October 7, 2012. 2 songs to share. This second one was song by the young women as part of camp kick off this year. That was a powerful moment too. As the girls sang, the audience began to stand. I was so inspired that I went home and purchased the song along with others. And they are the ones I picked to try and find peace. Tuesday, July 4, 2017. The Kitchen Remodel - Poor People Edition. I prefer the clean look and knobs, well, clutter up the joint. I am in love with the island. It was a labor of love. Many layers of wood and moulding, multiple colored chalk paint layers, sanding, chipping and the Elmer's glue and paint trick to make crackle. Glaze over all. Yes, that is the original island under it all. It looks so gorgeous and ancient! I can't wait to add the corbels and the new countertop and stools. All in good time.
