Family Travels in Singapore. Saturday, August 30, 2008. Our 1st meal in the apt. with real glasses and real flatware. The eggplant casserole turned out pretty good. See, a real spoon (not plastic! Study/Guest Room - See, it's inviting you! See my "new" chest of drawers from Guardian Angel Thrift Store in NC. Very nice to have clothes in drawers instead of in a suitcase on the floor. We've slept on our beds now for the 1st time in 2 1/2 months, and we're liking that quite well. Moving in, Aug. 28, 2008.

Now, while morbidity and mortality may not seem appropriate for a Friday night chat, I believe I have reached the period of my life where it is a frequent reality. Ironically, without knowing my thoughts, my dear friend echoed them perfectly. However, the age old question arose that evening - why suffering? Why so much at one time? Things were so much calmer and controlled than I expected! I'm still loving being a PA, and truthfully it has only gotten better since the first year of school. I have served in this position for two years, and while I am ready to move on, I am also sad to be leaving neat memories and friends.
