Fat Girl Learns To Run. 2011 Goal: Run a Marathon - 26.2 miles. January 1, 2011 - The Journey Begins. After running the Chicago Half Marathon in 2010, I felt like I was floundering with my running. My heart just didn’t seem in it any more. Lacing up the shoes started to seem like a chore.
