I'm determined to catch up on cataloging our family's events this year. Be ready for outdated posts galore! St Louis Trip (April 2011). Last spring we had an awesome 36 hour vacation as a family. one last hurrah before jake joined our family. i mentioned it here. Attended the st. louis temple while some friends watched the girls at a nearby chapel. Treated ourselves to Ted Drewes - twice. Stayed at a hotel overlooking the arch and mississippi river. And swam in the pool. Met up with friends from college.

Shawn, Bonnie and Ava. This year we decided to stay close to home for the holiday. It was really nice not having to split between the families and run every where to be here at this time, have to be there at this time.uh uh.none of that! Yeah we had a small fire in the field, but thank goodness for all the guys for rushing over there with buckets of water, it was put out and we didn't have to call the fire dept. What a relief! A place where the gals can post their fun recipes. Tuesday, July 19, 2011. Sloppy Joe Sauce (see recipe here. 2 cans refrigerated bisquit dough. Open biscuit dough and press individual biscuits into a greased muffin tin forming a "cup". Place a scoop of beef mixture into the center of each biscuit cup and bake at 350-degrees for about 15-20 minutes (take them out when the edges are a deep, golden brown). Immediately top with cheese, then serve! We also topped with extra sloppy joe sauce. 1/4 cup of salt.

Your favorite Mrs. Dash seasoning or other type of seasoning to taste. Brown hamb. and drain. add tomato soup, beans, seasoning. Pour into greased baking dish. In separate bowl prepare mashed potatoes, add egg. mix. spoon mashed potatoes on top of hamburger mixture. Add seasoning on top. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. 1/3 cup brown sugar. 1 green pepper (chopped).
