Financially Fit 4 the Future: Reduce Your House's Spending

http://financiallyfit4thefuture.blogspot.com/2010/05/reduce-your-houses-spending.html

Monday, May 3, 2010. Reduce Your House's Spending. Unplug and Turn Off. Make a Family Notebook. While it may be difficult, especially if you have teenagers, it can be incredibly helpful to start a family notebook detailing each person's spending. It gives the family the opportunity as a whole to see where each person is spending money and on what items and where everyone can make cutbacks. When everything is written down at the end of the week and totaled, the results can be surprising. You may wonder wh...

ja+4: This Boy of Mine

http://janda4.blogspot.com/2015/06/this-boy-of-mine.html

Friday, June 5, 2015. This Boy of Mine. There is not another kid out there like my kid! I know I'm partial because he's mine but he really is GREAT! He has the biggest heart and the kindest personality. He always looks out for the underdog and he hates bullies more than anything! He big in stature so he can easily defend others. I found this paper in his "Friday Folder", which is a folder of school work that is sent home each Friday. I read it and had to take a picture of it. THINGS THAT I VALUE. Sherry ...

Wednesday, July 23, 2014. Reno Lake Tahoe Tournament. July 3-7, 2014. We had a Diamond Dawg reunion tournament in Reno, Nevada. It was the most fun trip! We had all been looking forward to it for months! The boys got together from all the different high schools that they go to now and had a blast playing together again. They played great but ended up only taking 3rd place in the tournament. The setting for the ball fields was so spectacular! The pine trees were giant! The water is amazing in color. The k...

http://janda4.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html

Wednesday, November 19, 2014. I was digging through my moms cedar chest a few months back and found some old family photo albums with a gold mine of pictures! I took them out of those old, sticky, plastic albums and had them scanned and made a new photo book for her so that they wouldn't get damaged any further. This is my adorable grandma Norma Cazier Hartvisgsen when she was just a baby. She was born in 1924. She looks about 1 year old so I'm going to guess this picture was taken in 1925. This is my mo...

Thursday, January 22, 2015. On Saturday, January 3, 2015, Jeff and I took Molly, Emma and Ellie sledding at Peteetneet. Cade was already there with his friend Kyler Baum. The kids had a blast! Cade is so funny when he sleds. He puts his arms back and looks just like a penguin! Brinley Baum, Molly, Ellie and Emma. Cade and Kyler Baum. The Pond at Christmas. Thursday, October 30, 2014. We started out the day on Halloween with a Salem Hills HS state playoff game against the Highland Rams. The boys played like studs and we won the game 14-7. We play Roy next week and we are all keeping our fingers crossed for a victory! We essentially have a total of 3 games, including the one with Roy, to take state! It would be AWESOME if it happened! Here is the team after the win celebrating with the crowd. They both looked cute in their costumes this year! Here are the ki...

Wednesday, August 20, 2014. August 19, 2014. Big Jensy is a Junior this year. SO SO crazy to think that I only have ONE more year of school with this kid. Where on earth has the time gone? Sidney is a Freshman and she's feeling like the big man on campus! Cade is in 5th grade. Only one more year left in elementary school for this guy. Miss Molly girl couldn't hardly wait for school and 2nd grade. She was counting down the days for nearly a month! August Rain means MUDDIN'. I love the summertime! I love t...

Sunday, February 22, 2015. Happy Valentines Day 2015. I LOVE making Valentine boxes! I was so happy when both of my elementary kids got to make one at home. I hate it when they make them at school. There's no fun for ME! Mr Stutz 5th grade class has a contest each year to see who can put the most hearts on their Valentine box. Jens and Sidney both won when they had his class. I'm disappointed to say that Cade lost! We had 5304 heats on his box! Sweethearts Dance February 13, 2015. They took twin sisters!

Friday, April 3, 2015. Our last visit to our St. George house. We bought a house in St. George, Utah as a vacation house with some of our friends: Travis and Shasta Parry and Ryan and Jamie Johnson. The guys went down to look at different properties and decided on this one. I was pregnant with Molly at the time and didn't even see it until it was a done deal! Comparing the kids in these two pictures is great! It's kind of fun to see the growth. This poor kid took a ball to the eye at baseball practice.

Friday, June 5, 2015. Diamond Dawg Reunion Party. I can't believe how much I've come to love all these boys over the years, and I can't believe how much I've missed them since they've all went on to their own ways to their own high schools. We had a reunion party for them and I think I was the most excited one about it! We had a barbecue with salads, fruit and dessert. Some of the parents came to help and. mostly just because they've missed being around all of them so much too! Cassie and Jake (private).

Saturday, May 16, 2015. Miss Molly gets baptized. Saturday, May 2, 2015. I can't believe that my baby is 8! Where has the time gone? I took her out to this apple orchard that is up the road from our house to take her pictures. They turned out so pretty! The sun was still a little too bright to take the orchard pics so we went to the Payson temple to take some. When the sun was lower in the sky, we went back to the orchard to finish up. She was in such a giggly mood and was posing in the funniest ways.
