http://gilliancrossphotography.blogspot.com/2014/09/commercial-cake-photography.html
Tips for choosing a photographer. Monday, 8 September 2014. A few weeks ago, I worked with the lovely Sandra of Sandra's House of Cakes. Photographing some of her fabulous show cakes for her website. Sandra works closely with the wedding venue Kirkley Hall. And we thought that their beautiful terrace garden would be an ideal place to do the photo shoot. So here's a link to them on my facebook page. Instead. You'll need to scroll past the jewellery photos to get to them. Enjoy. Follow by Email for updates.

Wedding and Portrait Photography in North East England: Longhirst Hall Wedding, Northumberland
http://gilliancrossphotography.blogspot.com/2011/08/longhirst-hall-wedding-northumberland_31.html
Tips for choosing a photographer. Wednesday, 31 August 2011. Longhirst Hall Wedding, Northumberland. Longhirst Hall was commissioned in the 1820's by the Lawson family. John Dobson was the achitect who designed it and it was built from sandstone which came from a quarry less than a mile away. The family, including six children, lived there for almost 60 years before it passed onto the next owners, the Joiceys. They had five children, so safe to say it was a true family home! The speeches included a slide...

Warmer weather, beautiful spring flowers - the bulbs are already starting to sprout! So I thought I'd focus on a spring wedding I took last year. Wedding and Portrait Photography in North East England: Newton Hall Wedding
http://gilliancrossphotography.blogspot.com/2012/12/newton-hall-wedding.html
Tips for choosing a photographer. Tuesday, 11 December 2012. Newton Hall is a Georgian Hotel on the beautiful Northumberland coast. It is luxurious and quirky and I was looking forward to photographing this fabulous wedding. The day started at the bride's house with some funky shoes and the groom's artwork on the wall. Some mother-daughter make up time and the bride's mum in her dressing gown. One final check in the mirror before it was time to go. A nervous-looking groom was waiting at Newton Hall.

Tips for choosing a photographer. Monday, 15 September 2014. Why Choose a Professional Photographer? Weddings can be expensive occasions these days, and couples are always looking at ways to save money. With cameras getting more and more advanced, many amateur photographers try to make some extra money by offering cheaper wedding photography packages. This is very tempting when you are on a money saving exercise but not always one that pays off. A friend of my husband's got married and there were two of ...

This is an eclectic blog about creative projects, inspirations, and musings about everyday life. I hope you enjoy it. Wednesday, 13 November 2013. This is my first attempt at painting anything snowy! A cute little snowman to make into Christmas cards. I only used Ultramarine, Alizarin Crimson and Black, with masking fluid to keep the snowy bits snowy white! I am going to put him on a Christmas card for sale. I'd love to hear your comments about him :-). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). If you'd like to share.

Arty Things and Musings: October 2013
http://gcfineart.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
This is an eclectic blog about creative projects, inspirations, and musings about everyday life. I hope you enjoy it. Thursday, 10 October 2013. With thoughts turning towards Christmas, I thought I would tackle a painting of a robin. I wanted the background to be an evergreen Christmassy green but halfway through, I was wishing I'd left it a snowy, plain white. Now that it's finished and cropped I don't mind the background. I am going to make this available as greetings cards and prints. If you have any ...

http://gcfineart.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
This is an eclectic blog about creative projects, inspirations, and musings about everyday life. I hope you enjoy it. Wednesday, 19 March 2014. This is March's painting - although I've realised that I never blogged about February's painting! I did paint one in Feb but I love this one so much that I'll show it first. Slightly paler as they were taken on a different camera. I'd love to know what you think. As usual, giclee prints are available to purchase. My Fine Art website will be coming soon!
