Whatever it is I managed to do my 2.45 mile loop in 34.05 mins, the interesting thing is that I am starting to notice my lactate threshold so whenever I approached this I was able to ease back. I also managed to jog very slowly for a total of 8/9 mins slip into 3 sessions the first jog being about 4/5 mins then a short one of 1.30mins and finally a period of 3.05 mins on the tarmac. After yesterdays exertions i am feeling a little stiff, perhaps I need to work on some stretch exercises. After Friday’s testing of weights I have enough lactic acid in my body to stop an elephant, Boy does it hurt. Saturday was going to be a slow and steady 50 mins walk to build up a fitness base in the end pushed myself and ended up doing 5km in 42:10.
