The House on Olalla Rd.

This is the first day of the rest of my life! The day we closed escrow. In the end, we added the retaining wall in front and planted the orchard. It is now irrigated with 8 acre feet of water from Olalla Creek; and it needs it in the summer. This home was definitely a labor of love for both Jill and I. Diamond Lake

These are the pictures I took at Diamond Lake! I took this picture when I walked down to the lake from my camping space! It was only about 1/4 mile to the store; A pleasant walk down a small foot path through some fir trees. Sunday, I drove to the resort and took more pictures of the marina. It has an ominous feel to it. It seemed to be a nice day for a fire and a book. It was pretty foggy so you can't even see Mt. Thielsen, the highest peak in the southern Cascades. These are the vehichles we used to keep up the property on Olalla Rd. and to get away from it! The day we moved into Olalla Road! This is the 25' Nash trailer that will be creating the dust for now. It is "cozy" shall we say! If someone farts at the other end of the trailer, you can not only hear it, but you can watch them do it! I will add the rest when able! Go to the "My Life" page! The Vale Trail RV Park.

This is when I stopped short of Boise. It seems like that was a good decision! This is the site I took in Vale, Oregon. When I got there, I was so beat up from the wind, I would have stayed in a "transient camp" and been the King. We know the "one eyed man is King of the blind". It turns out it was a great place to be when I had a chance to look over the options. The closer I got to Boise, the more the "RV Parks" looked like parking lots and the cost went up while the services went down.
