If it doesn't make your tastebuds dance, it's not worth it. March 19, 2012. Potato, Leek and Spinach Terrine Christmas for Vegetarians. Catering for vegetarians at Christmas lunch can be frustrating. It’s a special meal, so you don’t want to jip them by serving up an everyday vegetarian dish. But if you don’t provide something substantive, they could well be left eating a plate of salad leaves, and that’s not particularly satisfying at any time of year. You can find the recipe here. I would also recommen...

So, I’ve decided to play catch up. Not in any particular order. Just as and when I feel like it. Share on Facebook (Opens in new window). Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window).

Making healthy food delicious (on a budget). Almond Meal Dark Chocolate Energy Balls. Making almond milk is fun and delicious…but it’s such a waste if you don’t use the almond meal for something after. There’s so much almond still left! I like to either dry out the meal under low heat in the oven to conserve it better for future use, or cook something with it right away. Makes about 24 cookies. 1 1/4 cup of almond meal (try to strain and dry it out as best as possible). 1/2 cup shredded coconut. Mix the ...
