… and then there was a new fertility specialist. | Food, Fun, and the Occasional Run
https://foodfunoccasionalrun.wordpress.com/2015/08/11/and-then-there-was-a-new-fertility-specialist
Food, Fun, and the Occasional Run. Life with a side of Chaos. 8230; and then there was a new fertility specialist. August 11, 2015. He told me to try to calm down and relax and seemed confident that the testing would yield a plan of action that will work for us. He also gave me access to the SART to compare fertility clinics and their success rates. Here’s to hoping that the fall holds the BFP we’ve been trying so hard for! Food, Fun, and the Occasional Run. Life with a side of Chaos. July 10, 2015. Everyone needs an outlet. Years ago, (when I was in college) I instituted the “Day of J” — which is basically a day of celebrating myself. I always tried to have one a few times a year, where I’d reward myself with Starbucks, a meal out, and some shopping. It’s always been a great way to splurge on a day/week/month that needed a little extra sunshine. This entry was posted in Uncategorized. And tagged Life in General. You are co...

Last Couple Days (CD11). Trying to Conceive with PCOS. Last Day of Provera (and a bombshell). August 6, 2015. Just Another Day in Paradise. Middot; August 11, 2015. South Korea is amazing! I was fortunate enough to travel there years ago — a gift to myself after I finished graduate school. I’d love to go back but haven’t circled there on any of my Asia-based adventures. Last Couple Days (CD11). Trying to Conceive with PCOS. August 16, 2015. So The opk worries I had yesterday we’re completely unfounded. I got no thermal shift and no positive opk today. I’m feeling a lot better. A lot less anxiety. Hopefully, I wont get an actual positive until the 23rd-25th (CD16-18). I’m really nervous. This really could be it. I know I keep saying it but this really could be the start of our family! OPK Nightmare and a Little Backstory. (CD8). August 15, 2015. Anyway. I’ve al...As far ...

Last Couple Days (CD11). Trying to Conceive with PCOS. August 12, 2015. Ok It’s been almost 24 since I started Clomid. I can say with 100% certainty that this is going to be a very. Everything was fine when I took the first dose. Some nausea, not too bad. I thought it was going to be fine. NOPE! 7am: I wake up to take my temperature, I notice this horrid, rancid metallic taste in my mouth and found out shortly after that dairy tastes sour. 7:30pm: I’m really not looking forward to the next dose. I just g...

Last Couple Days (CD11). Trying to Conceive with PCOS. First day of Clomid (CD3). August 10, 2015. This post is a little premature but I’m feeling a lot of anxiety so I wanted to get it out. I’ll be taking my first dose of Clomid in a little more than 4 hours. I’m really nervous. My husband is being super supportive. He’s trying so hard to keep me in a good mood and staying positive. Middot; August 11, 2015. It’s nice that you have that friend to debrief with. Good luck with your first pill!

Last Couple Days (CD11). Trying to Conceive with PCOS. Running List of Everything We’re Using. August 8, 2015. I thought today that I’d write down a running list of everything that we’re using to boost our chances of getting pregnant (or at minimum make sure I’m healthy). Cycles of Provera and Clomid (to hopefully make sure I ovulate). Basal Body Temperature (to confirm ovulation). Fertility Friend (cycle tracking app on my phone, comes in really handy). Middot; August 8, 2015. OPK’s worked great f...

Last Couple Days (CD11). Trying to Conceive with PCOS. August 8, 2015. I bought a couple things today to help me track this cycle. I bought a pack of disposable cups for urine samples for my opk’s and pregnancy tests since neither of them are midstream. I also bought a notebook to tape them into so I can keep looking back at them. I really hope that this month I will finally be able to hold a positive pregnancy test in my hand. Food, Fun & Life
Food, Fun and Life. Wednesday, November 5, 2014. I can't believe I've never posted this recipe before now. And really, it's not cake at all. Simply put, it's four giant chocolate chip cookies layered together with chocolate frosting. I know, right? I got this recipe from my mother-in-law, and I've made a few of my own adjustments. This is the dessert that my hubby always requests for his birthday and Fathers Day. 1 c (2 sticks) butter, softened. 3/4 c brown sugar. 2 and 1/2 c. flour. 1 t baking soda.

July 8, 2011 · 6:30 am. Sliced Steak and the Trusted Chef. Introducing the Food Network foodie who knows it all. As I explained, with much resistance, to this particular guest, the key to any fine cut of meat is to let the meat rest. Allow it to hang out and permit the savory juices to redistribute into the meat is how we get the “mmmm” sound from our guests. Once the meat is rested, slice away. Minimal juices seep out and you still have a very flavorful steak. Moral of the story:. You select a wine and ...

Food, Fun and other Things. A blog about cooking, food, dining out and cool ethnic markets. Monday, February 15, 2010. I love caviar and as the servuga's and osetra's of the world are a bit pricey salmon and trout caviar can satisfy the craving in a more frugal way. While I tend to eat my caviar straight from the jar this is a pretty good way to enjoy the mouth popping goodness of fish eggs! 4 ounces Salmon Caviar. Creme Fraiche 2 tablespoons. Food fun. post. Monday, November 8, 2010. Just a short, mostly picture post to show some outgoing I've put in the mailbox in the past few days. These are all very long overdue.sorry peeps! Heading out to Megan. Above two are going out for Postcrossing. One to Montana here in the states and one to Lithuania. It's been a while since I participated in Postcrossing so I thought I'd give it a go. That long break really made me forget how much I enjoy writing! Hope this mail finds all of its recipients well!
