Rabu, 17 Juli 2013. Eksperimen tanam daun bawang dan seledri. Sudah lama nggak nge-blog. Kangen juga. Mau cerita ah, tentang eksperimen tanam daun bawang. Dapat ide waktu liburan di Jogya kemarin. Di kebun tante, ada deretan pot isinya daun bawang. Lah, kok bisa? Kesenangan, aku coba lagi tanam seledri, baru sehari paginya aku tengok udah ilang. Kayaknya sih dimakan tikus. Kamis, 08 Agustus 2013. Meski kami tidak merayakan hari raya Idul Fitri atau lebaran. Tahun ini saya ikut sibuk. Buat ontbijtkoek 11 loyang pesanan dari empat pelanggan. Sebagian besar untuk hantaran, yang lainnya untuk konsumsi sendiri. Begitu pengakuan mereka. Satu demi satu kue pun jadi. Paling senang kalau lihat kue mengembang bagus dan masih panas di loyang. Jumat, 09 Desember 2011. Sambal Ijo Ikan Bilih. Akhir November lalu aku ke Pekanbaru. Sebelum pulang kami mampir di pusat oleh-oleh Mega Rasa di Jl. Sudirman Wah, macam-macam dijual di sana. Aku bingung. Yang jelas niatku ya beli Lempuk Durian. Tapi ternyata di sana ada juga Dodol Durian. Apa bedanya? Rumah Makan Pak Abbas menyediakan masakan Padang, tapi Padang yang gaya Pekanbaru. Entah dimana bedanya aku tak terlalu paham. Yang jelas, semua menunya lezat tak terkira. Di sana juga jual duri...Cabe rawi...

Minggu, 31 Juli 2011. Kering Kentang Teri Petai. Temanku bilang, ia pesan khusus ke cateringnya. Setiap bulan ia pesan 4 toples isi 250 gram. Seminggu lalu aku ikut pesan satu toples. Harganya lumayan mahal, 45ribu rupiah per toples. Suamiku ternyata suka banget. Asisten juga penasaran karena baru tahu petai bisa dimasak seperti ini. Hanya dalam 3 hari toples itu sudah kosong. Eh, kata kakakku yang pernah tinggal di Pekanbaru, irisan petai bisa juga diganti irisan jengkol. Di sana kering kentang sepe...
