The good, the bland, the oopsies. Slow cooker chicken cacciatore →. March 1, 2014. Easy, quick, delish? Curry pastes make it so simple to make a tasty meal that could last for days. I really like what I’ve tried from Asian Home Gourmet. Butter chicken and Thai red curry, which are readily available at Save-On. If the other products are anything like these two, then they’re winners. This entry was posted in Uncategorized. Slow cooker chicken cacciatore →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

The good, the bland, the oopsies. Smoked Gouda Mac & Cheese →. Three Cup Chicken ( 三杯鶏 ). September 9, 2014. Pardon the Chinese characters; they could be wrong. A week ago, I went to Panz Veggie with friends, and was totally inspired to make this. The restaurant had bean curd rolls that I don’t have easy access to, and the kid wouldn’t have a protein source, even if I did have it, so chicken it is! The name comes from equal parts rice wine, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Basil is the super ingredient. Add ba...

The good, the bland, the oopsies. Smoked Gouda Mac & Cheese. Creamy smoked salmon pasta →. October 25, 2014. We had bananas to be used, and I didn’t feel like making smoothies in this weather. I cut down on a bit of the sugar, because these were mostly meant for Markus, and they were a bit bland for it. I also have tins for 36 muffins, so I filled them almost to the top. 1/2 C vegetable oil. 2 very ripe bananas (I used medium sized bananas because I like the extra flavor, but you can use 2 small). The re...

ramblings: Creme Brulee, Take 2
http://ramblingsoto.blogspot.com/2010/11/creme-brulee-take-2.html
Mostly about baby things now. Friday, November 5, 2010. Creme Brulee, Take 2. After trying out creme brulee, I managed to find this great video. About making the dessert, and learned a few things. This next recipe is much more brulee-like (I know, I know, brulee refers to the hard top, but you know what I mean), whereas the last one was more of a flan. Ingredients (makes 6 servings 125mL each):. Preheat oven to 300F. Use the rack just under middle. Cover and chill for 4 hours. Generously sprinkle sugar o...
