My top tens, and a non-recipe | Food*Nerd
https://foodnerd.wordpress.com/2009/07/14/my-top-tens-and-a-non-recipe
Laquo; Some more. I’m sorry i lied. My top tens, and a non-recipe. Anyway, with the kitchen all but packed up, it’s practically toruture to look through food blogs these days! And mixed in butternut squash and some sesame-peanut sauce. Sounds a little weird, I know, but it was awesome! So, with that said, here are my top tens. You can bet I’ll be tackling a lot of these recipes in August once my life calms down a bit. If you try any of them first, let me know how it goes! 1 Peanut Sesame Noodle. 6 Aglaia...

Laquo; My top tens, and a non-recipe. I’m sorry i lied. I’m sorry I lied and said I’d have a non-recipe for you. Because as we all know, I never posted that non-recipe. I’m hoping I’ll get to it later today, really. I also don’t have any new food for you today. The final stage of the move is happening tomorrow, after which maybe I can. Wait for it…. Awwww What a weird little wonderful creature! This entry was posted on July 17, 2009 at 8:04 am and is filed under Non-food related. From your own site.
Ray LaMontagne | Food*Nerd
https://foodnerd.wordpress.com/2009/07/17/ray-lamontagne
Hi there. Again, no food for you, but I couldn’t help but ask if you’ve heard this album. So let me know what you think! Have you heard this album? Do you like Ray LaMontagne? Went to high school with him? Never heard of him? Do tell… If you do get your hands on the album, some of my favorite songs are: You Are The Best Thing, Let It Be Me, Meg White, and (the oh so sad and oh so beautiful) A Falling Through. You can, of course, check out most of these songs on Youtube. Feed You can leave a response.

My top tens, and a non-recipe. Above: That’s the art museum in the background, and the street lights leading up to it on the diagonals. I just love the soft light in this one. This little girl was so sweet. She seemed really overwhelmed by all the people, but excited for the fireworks! This girl was cute too… Totally enthralled with the glow sticks. More to come tomorrow… have a great night! This entry was posted on July 9, 2009 at 8:09 pm and is filed under Non-food related. Feed You can leave a response.

Laquo; i’m sorry i lied. These days, my attention span at work is pretty short. I think I’ve got senioritis. I’m leaving in a few days, and with all the exciting stuff ahead of me, it’s hard to stay focused. But I’m trying, damn it. Yes I am. This morning I noticed a wonderful post from Jenifer on Nectar and Light. For the sake of my job, to pretend I didn’t see (at least till I get home! That is, if you’ve got time to spare. If not, stay far, far away from that link. Feed You can leave a response.

Wednesday, October 29, 2008. I've been following the blog Omni-Monster! For a while and can't get enough these. Gotta have 'em all! Monday, October 27, 2008. Over A Month - No Posts. Wow, I really let over a month go by with no posting? Let's just pretend I've been on a long vacation in Iceland with no internet access taking advantage of their fallen economy, when really I've been sitting at my desk all month with plenty of time to post. Monday, July 7, 2008. I first started making this Aussie dessert, Pavlova, a while back, when I received my beloved bible - ". The first ever meringue, sort of thing i made was called "Tray-baked meringue with pears, cream, toasted hazelnuts and chocolate sauce" and to tell you the truth It wasn't very nice. well that's probably because I was a beginner. BUT I do intend to make that one again. sometime soon hopefully. Once again like my other post ". If you're going to bake your meringues, cut a piece of...

Munchable Munchies: Looking Back
http://munchablemunchies.blogspot.com/2008/07/looking-back.html
Monday, July 7, 2008. I was looking back over the pictures I have taken of food, especially the ones I've done for assignments and I have found some very interesting recipes. This one especially, I did this last year for a Food Technology assignment about Food Photography, where we had to change an already existing recipe so we can make it our own. We had to make it and photograph it, I think we also had to make some sort of recipe card. But anyways this is my version of. 188; cup peanut oil.

One Of A Grind. Holiday in Kuwait Part 1. I’ve been off twitter and haven’t blogged in a while and I truly apologize for it! But I’ve got so much stuff to tell you about it might take a while to tell you all about the fantastic/foodastic time I spent in the City/State of Kuwait. 2 months back on yahoo messenger a convo with my uncle in Kuwait went something like this:. I want you to book tickets to make your stay last at least a month. You mean 30 days? Hows does 2 weeks sound? 2 weeks will just fly by!

Friday, March 27, 2009. I just ate lunch about an hour ago. Saw these. Now I'm hungry again! These extraordinary oil paintings (yeah, I know. PAINTINGS! Are by Atlantan artist James Neil Hollingsworth. I love how there are no settings. It's just the food sitting there in dark spaces. All your focus is drawn to the realism of the cookie part of the oreo or the glimmering jelly in that PB&J. You can view the rest of his work here. Saturday, March 14, 2009. Edit: Man, I gotta work on my hands. Cakes 4 a cure.

Munchable Munchies: Party Time!
http://munchablemunchies.blogspot.com/2008/07/party-time.html
Tuesday, July 8, 2008. I've always enjoyed making sponge cakes! I always know that my dad enjoys my cakes a lot as when I've just finished making my cakes and photographing them, hes the first one always to inspect them. His way of inspecting them is smelling them to see if they smell any good (or in other words not poisonous. lol) and if all is ok, then he takes a MASSIVE slice. =P But I love him! I normally make sponge cakes for birthdays. Which I feel is always made with heaps of love! Ingredients see...

Food Neophobia | It's legit, trust me.
It's legit, trust me. June 20, 2009. When you think of phobias, usually heights, spiders or snakes come to mind. But food? How could someone be afraid of food? Call it stubborn, call it ignorance, or even childish. I am here to tell you, it’s no laughing matter (…that’s a lie, it can get pretty hilarious). 8221; Anyways, how do I fall into the category of “food neophobia? 8221; Let me explain my “condition” a little better. What am I going to eat later on? Posted by Kendyl Mounce.
