BABM is de Belgo-Luxemburgse Vereniging van Merkartikelfabrikanten. Zij vertegenwoordigt de sector van de Fast Moving Consumer Goods van merkfabrikanten in België en Luxemburg inzake essentiële onderwerpen die het vermogen van merkfabrikanten om hun merken te ontwerpen, te verdelen en te verhandelen kunnen beïnvloeden. BABM werd opgericht in 1994 en telt momenteel 50 leden-bedrijven, allen actief in het BeLux-gebied, die nationale en internationale merken vervaardigen.

Bureaus and Working Groups. Bureaus and Working Groups. Within BABM there are several bureaus, working parties and ad hoc groups. The working groups assist BABM's management in achieving the associations’ goals and objectives. The bureau regularly consults with a specialised lawyers’ office in order to act in compliance with competition law at all times. The Supply Chain working group treats all general logistic issues and has published recommendations on various matters in this domain.
