Homework due on Tuesday: homonyms and reading questions. Students need to stop during 6 different 30 minute reading sessions and answer one of the three questions. Students spent a lot of the day in homeroom but did spend 40 minutes in language arts and math today. It was a pleasure to meet the kids today. We primarily worked on team building, school and classroom rules, and procedures. We will begin our regular schedule on Monday. About Mrs. Foster. Tuesday, January 24, 2012. Beginning of 3rd Quarter. Wow, it's hard to believe that 3rd quarter began today! Students are taking County Benchmark Assessments today and tomorrow. All 3rd - 5th graders took the reading assessment today and will take the math tomorrow. This assessment will not affect grades, but it will give us important information about how much each student has learned so far this year. Questions to Reveal Thinking:.
