Dr. Bruce Gardner: The Rainy Season
http://drbrucegardner.blogspot.com/2010/04/rainy-season.html
Saturday, April 3, 2010. Haiti is no place for egos, particularly those of relief workers. The disaster is so clearly not about us. I went down to help, and I did, and I'm grateful for the opportunity. Did it make a difference? Yes, about as much difference as a single raindrop in a torrent. And gloriously, my ego is not calling out for acknowledgement. I am being moved by spirit. I'd say most of the workers are as well. A spiritual rain. Holy Water. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Dr. Bruce Gardner: Seattle sun
http://drbrucegardner.blogspot.com/2010/04/seattle-sun.html
Friday, April 9, 2010. I certainly struggled to "make it happen" for so many years, forcing my way to the front of the line of life. Not now. Not today. Today what is in front of me is enough, is pleasant, is true, and I don't need it any other way. And that is another great, great gift. April 10, 2010 at 6:48 PM. So proud of you, and all that you give, and all that you are. If this is your b side - WOW. You are a great inspiration. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Subscribe To My Blog.

Dr. Bruce Gardner: Kathmandu Valley School
http://drbrucegardner.blogspot.com/2012/06/kathmandu-valley-school.html
Thursday, June 7, 2012. Saw the kids at Kathmandu Valley School yesterday. Delivered donated medicines and supplies, Zing bars, books. Also examined them and queried them. What a cool group. So healthy and getting great education not available in the Khumbu. Sad that two of them lost their dad last year on Everest. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
