They rushed him to the hospital where doctors worked on him through the night. Unfortunately they could not save him and he died the next day, September 14, 1914. Events in the town of Allensworth include a community clean up and an e-waste collection and recycle point. Volunteers at the state park will paint the historic Gross Drug Store and do general clean up of the park.
