Fundraiser + 2014 – The Friends of Oberlin Village

The Friends of Oberlin Village. Raleigh, North Carolina. The Friends of Oberlin host their first fundraiser, a pig pickin’ with plates consisting of chopped pork, hushpuppies, coleslaw, dessert and will be sold for $10.00 In additional to the wonderful food there will be three bands with music ranging from jazz to folk. The funds raised from this event will be applied toward the purchase and installation of a historic marker honoring the rich history of Oberlin Village and the historic cemetery.

The next Oberlin Cemetery Community Cleanup will be held on Saturday, March 28th from 9:00 AM until 12 Noon at the site, which is located at 1014 Oberlin Road. March 11, 2015.
