The Dream King Challenge Blog: February 2009
http://dreamkingchallenge.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
The Dream King Challenge Blog. Monday, February 16, 2009. Many people have read this book by now, the tale of a boy Bod brought up by ghosts in a graveyard. This is my first Neil Gaiman book, and a leap from my usual type of reading. I thought it was very well written, and overall I enjoyed it. I especially liked that as different ghost were named their epitaph followed - great touch. A good book though which I did enjoy. This completes the Challenge for me - a Neophyte! Links to this post. When I realiz...

The Dream King Challenge Blog: The Sandman: Dream Country
http://dreamkingchallenge.blogspot.com/2009/10/sandman-dream-country.html
The Dream King Challenge Blog. Monday, October 26, 2009. The Sandman: Dream Country. Published: 1995 Pages: 112. Dream Country contains 4 disturbing stories: Calliope, A Dream of a Thousand Cats, A Midsummer-Night's Dream, and Facade. Plus, Gaiman has included his script for Calliope which gives us insight into Gaiman's writing process on this particular story. But since this is a graphic novel, we also get to see it. Rape is so abhorrent to me that I dislike seeing it in books or films. Facade features ...

http://dreamkingchallenge.blogspot.com/2009/11/three-short-stories.html
The Dream King Challenge Blog. Wednesday, November 25, 2009. To top off my Neil Gaiman reads for The Dream King Challenge, I decided to read a few short stories which are available online. I'm not going to tell you much about these three short stories by Gaiman. A taste is all you shall receive, a little piece of temptation which will hopefully inspire you to click on the story name and read the stories for yourself. How to Talk to Girls at Parties. Two boys wind up at the wrong party with unusual girls&...

The Dream King Challenge Blog: June 2009
http://dreamkingchallenge.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
The Dream King Challenge Blog. Friday, June 26, 2009. I have unofficially joined this challenge a while ago, but must have forgotten to post about it. I had never read Neil Gaiman's before this year, and I thought this year should be the year. He's so popular especially among bloggers and I told myself I had to read at least a few of his books to know what they're like and join the frenzy. Half a year has passed and I've read three of his books so I'm in good stand to run for Devotee. Links to this post.

The Dream King Challenge Blog: September 2009
http://dreamkingchallenge.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
The Dream King Challenge Blog. Tuesday, September 29, 2009. A fun read. It feels like Pratchetts writing and Gaiman's ideas a lot of the time. They worked well together, I personally prefer Gaiman's slightly darker side to Pratchett's more comic fantasy, but this will definitely appeal to Pratchett fans as well. I would love to see what else they could come up with as a writing team, but it seems highly unlikely at this point sadly. Links to this post. Monday, September 14, 2009. Where I realized I had n...
