Can you believe that Quake 1 is almost. Now that even Quake 3 is verging on passé (I still love it though), it might be safe for me to put up my Quake 1 page. Part homage, part shrine, part for-the-hell-of-it, part love letter, part museum. very few things on earth rock as hard as good old-fashioned Quake. I'll mine some of my backup CDs soon and barf up some fossils here, just for the crazy hedonistic fun of it all. In the meantime, please enjoy some light music.

It still absolutely has me by the throat. This section will have some of my characters and stories of adventure and so forth a little later; for now, I wanted to get the D2 Rune Tool. Dave Vedder made the glass tomato icon. Matthew C. Mary helped clean up the blue Pikmin. James Mudge made the eyes banner look way cooler. I swiped some meta tag clues and a few good stylesheet rules from Jeffrey Zeldman. The validator icons came from Raging Platypus. Helped me pick complementary colors for the site. That was pretty cool. I write, code and host the site myself, so props to me for that.

A bunch of us who hung out on the GameFAQs Pikmin Message Boards. Started a discussion, and then an endless obsession, with acheiving the highest possible scores in Challenge Mode. We're pretty dang good at it.
