He continues to be more and more aware if his surroundings and has improved his motor skills so that he can engage with it. Height: long. We'll find out next week at his well visit. Becoming Mrs. X. Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Time has changed since having Matthew. It seems to go flying by when I consider how old he is. So here are some moments where I wish time could stop:. Looking down to see him smile up at me while I rock him in the back of the church. Being the one to stop his cries simply by holding him. Being greeted by his smiling face in the crib to start his day. Getting cuddles as he snuggles his head into the crook of my neck. Having him fall asleep in my arms.

He seems pretty cute from the grainy ultrasound pictures we've gotten. He didn't want his picture taken for the anatomy scan so it was a little challenging for the tech. Be prepared for the catch-up essay that follows:. And then, the greatest miracle of all happened: there was a baby in my womb and this baby had a heart that was beating! I texted everybody the news!

I'm just thinking. Out loud. December 31, 2014. Oh, our sweet Jane is now one and a half! Where has the time gone? She continues her journey toward independence; she likes to try to put on her own socks, pants, and shoes. She’s becoming a bit more of a picky eater, preferring mostly fruit and carbs. She does love corn and peas, so at least she is getting some vegetables! When I ask her where her baby brother is, she will usually point to my belly, but then will point to her own! Jane loves being outside.
