The stuff of it. Tuesday, August 7, 2012. These pictures let you see this beautiful rainbow that we woke up to one morning recently. They also show the new look on our house! Not the best pictures of the house because I was really aiming at the rainbow, but you get the idea. That's a lot of work! But we love it. The stuff of it. Tuesday, August 7, 2012. School starts with groans and ends for the day with happy faces. Not the best attitude to start the day. But it was an easy day and as the kids got into their new books eagerness and good attitudes prevailed. We studied Mexico for Geography and ended our first school day of the year by making tortillas from scratch! Here, Ivy is rolling hers out and Vitali is holding out his tortilla complete with beans, cheese, onions and the (finally! Max's turn to make one.

The stuff of it. Tuesday, August 7, 2012. Evening in the Mountains. We went for an evening trip into the mountains again the other day. Steve wanted to drive the Tail of the Dragon again. Its this famous stretch of curvy road that winds up a mountain and has, like, a bazillion curves in it. Steve is pretty much the only one in the family who likes this. But he REALLY likes it! The stuff of it. Friday, June 8, 2012. I was glad to get these pictures of our family this past week. Our new living room was empty except for the couch and so I begged cooperation from everybody letting them choose their clothes. They did a pretty good job though the boys took a couple of tries before they were wearing shirts with no pictures AND no writing (my stipulations).
